Cambria Bowmen Frostbite Shoot - 25th Feb 2018

The folks at Cambria Bowmen have extended an invitation to their annual Frostbite shoot details below

The Frostbite Shoot

Venue: Creigau Recreational Ground, Creigau, Cardiff     Click for Directions

Round: Stafford (6 dozen @ 30 meters)

Entry fees (Including lunch of jacket potato and/or stew, with soup and a roll after the shoot):
    Senior - £10.00
    Junior - £7.00
    Spectators - £5.00

Lady Paramount: TBC

Judges: TBC

Assembly: 10.45am

Sighters: 11.00am

Closing Date: 17th February 18, due to anticipated popularity I would advise getting your entry and payment in ASAP.

Awards: Many and Varied!

Dress: To be in accordance with rule 307 GNAS rules of shooting (plain dark green and or white or Club Colours)

Shooting: GNAS rules of shooting apply. This is an indoor round shot outdoors and so will be shot in 3 arrow ends. With indoor scoring.

Food: We will be putting on our usual excellent catering, to include mid-morning coffee, tea and Welsh Cakes, with jacket potato and/or stew lunch time and soup and a roll after the shoot (Vegetarians catered for). The emphasis as usual is FUN FUN FUN for all to enjoy this new shoot with excellent food and even better company.
Please specify if you have special dietary needs.

Photography: Anyone wishing to take photographs or make a video must provide or complete an official GNAS form.

G.N.A.S Membership: All archers must be members of GNAS or a FITA associated organisation. Cards may be requested on registration.

Directions:

If traveling west bound on the M4, exit J25a, take 3rd exit at roundabout - signposted for Caerleon. Follow the road for approximately 3 miles, over the bridge and through the one-way system through Caerleon. Just after the Chinese takeaway on left and before Caerleon common, turn left into Lodge Road, then next left into Cold Bath Road follow the road to the end and into the school.

If travelling east bound on M4, exit J26, take 3rd exit , heading into Newport. At 1st roundabout, get in right hand lane and take 4th exit, up the slip road onto the A4042. Go through lights (Sainsburys on right hand side) and at the roundabout take 2nd exit for Caerleon/M4. Keep left and take the slip road off the slip road to M4. At the roundabout , take 1st exit for Caerleon and follow the road for approximately 3 miles, over the bridge and through the one-way system through Caerleon. Just after the Chinese takeaway on left and before Caerleon common, turn left into Lodge Road, then next left into Cold Bath Road follow the road to the end and into the school.
